Xiaomi Mi Band 6 specifications have come to light through the Zepp Huami application for smartphones. The information is passed through the GeekDoing Forum post, where users named Magicalunicorn delved deep into the application source code. It seems that there are two Mi Band 6 variants in the work, with the XMSH16HM and XMSH16HM model number. The first is a special Chinese variant that comes with NFC functionality and the last is the global version without it. Mostly, Mi Band 6 will be identical to Xiaomi Mi Band 5, with a few new features added here and there.

Mi Band 6 Specifications
The post forum states that Xiaomi Mi Band 6 specifications will cover a higher screen resolution. Therefore, the possibility of fitness trackers will come with a larger screen compared to its predecessor. One additional key includes blood oxygen monitoring functionality through the included SPO2 sensor, something that feels absent from Xiaomi's fitness tracker. The international version of Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will come with the functionality of Alexa, while the Chinese version will use Xiaomi in-house Xiao AI assistant.

The other Xiaomi Mi Band 6 specifications are expected including enhanced GPS functionality, 30 special sports modes, 24-hour heart rate tracking, and sleep tracking. Users will be able to access sleep tracking data directly from the band too. Fitness trackers can also receive notifications from more than 300 popular applications such as Gmail, Discord, Messenger, Instagram, and more.
We can expect the launch of MI Band 6 in China first, with a global release follow. However, if the previous release is something that must be passed, it is impossible it will be launched until June 2021.
