Motorola Capri Plus receives BIS certification, India launch soon

Motorola's upcoming lines of affordable smartphones, Motorola Capri and Motorola Capri Plus (aka Motorola G30), have shown more than once in places such as the NTBC Thailand certification site and the US FCC website. Now it seems like the India launch date of Motorola Capri Plus can be closer than we think of a smartphone just accepting BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards). It was seen by Tipster Mukul Sharma, with the list of the Motorola XT2129-2 model number. While the BIS listing told us a little about the Motorola Capri Plus specifications, the previous leak had told us a little about what was expected from the smartphone.

Specifications of Motorola Capri Plus (Moto G30)

Motorola Capri Plus is expected to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery is 4,000 mAh to support fast charging up to 20W. Interestingly enough, Motorola has decided to ship Moto G30 with an HD+ which is Clocked at 90Hz. The screen will be interupted by a Water-drop style notch that holds a 8MP selfie camera.

At the back, Motorola Capri Plus will have a quad-camera array with a 64MP sensor on a helm, which will be assisted by an 13MP ultra-wide corner lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. As with most Motorola branded smartphones, the Moto G30 will run an Android version that is clean and free of customization out of the box. Looking at the specification sheet, we can expect the price of the Motorola Capri Plus in India to be around Rs. 12,000 mark.
