Vaio made a comeback in India last month with several affordable laptops and the company has now announced a global top class notebook. This is called Vaio Z (2021) and comes with all the upscale laptop bells and whistles, including Intel Tiger Lake a new CPU, support Thunderbolt 4.0, Dolby certified speaker, and carbon fiber body. Vaio Z weighs less than 1 kg, Vaio Z is lies on the lighter end of the spectrum, making it ideal for users while traveling. However, all of these features comes in a premium cost. Vaio Z is currently available for pre-orders in certain regions.
Vaio Z (2021) Price
Vaio Z Entry-level variant costs USD 3,579 (around Rs 2,60,000). Similarly, the maxed-out version costs USD 4,179 (around Rs 3,00,000). Remember that this is the price of the US, and laptops may be more expensive in India if the company plans to bring it to the country.
Vaio Z (2021) Specifications
Vaio Z (2021) runs on Windows 10 Pro and has a 4K ultra-HD (3,840x2.160 pixels) 14 inches screen with HDR support. The screen is attached to the lid that can open up to 180 degrees. Users can also rotate the screen after once opened by pressing the FN+2 key. Next, Vaio claims that the Vaio Z (2021) display can be opened and closed with one hand - without touching it's Palm Rest.
Under hood, Vaio Z (2021) has an Intel Core i7 processor, along with Intel Iris XE graphics and up to 32GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Laptops also come with 2TB PCIe SSD storage. The company has also used its Vaio TruePerformance technology which is claimed to boosts the CPUs limit together to control heat emissions.

Vaio Z (2021) comes with a Windows Hello Facials Recognition Technologyto easily log-in. It also includes fingerprint sensor let users to enter without entering a password.
Vaio has available Dolby audio sound on Vaio Z (2021) along with stereo speakers. This machine also has Thunderbolt 4 ports 2 Type-C USB, HDMI ports, and 3.5mm headphone jacks. Next, it comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
On the input side, Vaio Z (2021) features a inclined backlit keyboard along with 1.5mm key pitch stroke and multi-touch support touchpad. There is a built-in webcam with a physical camera shutter.
Vaio Z (2021) includes a battery that is claimed to provide use of up to 10 hours on single charge. The battery supports up to 65W fast charging via the bundled AC adapter. In addition, the laptop is claim to have a weight of about one kilogram.
