Poco F3 may launch soon as global version of Redmi K40

Poco F3 Launch seems to be near now that smartphones have received FCC certification. The Poco phone will be the global version of the Redmi K40 which is launched in China. The Xiaomi M2012K11A1G model has emerged as a Poco phone on the FCC and IMEI database, seen by Mukul Sharma. The list of FCC shows the phone will have 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. This will run MIUI 12 out of the box. The launch of the Indian Poco F3 is also expected and it seems that the phone can arrive at the end of this month or in April.

The handset with the same model number has received Indonesian telecommunications certification, TUV Rheinland, EEC certification. Redmi's phone debuted on the global market under Branding Poco is not new. In the past, we have seen Redmi K30 Pro being renamed Poco F2 Pro and Vanilla Redmi K30 as Poco X2 in several markets, including India. Unfortunately, the Poco F3 launch timeline remains under the wraps, for now, but we hope to learn more in the future.
Specifications of Poco F3 (expected)
If Poco F3 does apparently the rebranded Redmi K40, the phone can run on Android 11 with MUI 12 above. This can display a 6.67-inch AMOLED full-HD screen (1,080x2,400) with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The upcoming Poco phone can be powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM.

Redmi K40 has a Sony IMX582 48-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens. This phone also carries a 20-megapixel camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chat. Poco F3 is expected to bring similar camera settings.
