The Asus Rog Phone 5 India launch will take place in March, according to tipster. New gaming phone by Taiwanese company speculate to become the successor to the Asus Rog phone 3 that launched in July last year. Although Asus has not provided any official details about Asus Rog Phone 5, the phone unannounce surfaces on several certification sites and benchmarks in the recent past. It is also believed to be the first model of the company to come up with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC flagship.
Tipster Mukul Sharma has taken to Twitter to suggest the launch of Asus Rog phone 5 that will soon occurs. He claimed that the new smartphone would make it's way in India in March. However, Tipster does not provide the right launch date.
Earlier this month, the Asus Rog Phone 5 is appeared on the certification site including China's TENNA. The phone appear with the model number ASUS_I005DA. Tipster also shared a video on Weibo who allegedly showed Asus Rog phone 5. It was however, pulled later.
Benchmark site Geekbench was also spotted listing the same ASUS_I005DA model number shortly after it appeared on TENNA and other certification sites.

Asus Rog Phone 5 Specifications on Geekbench
Some Geekbench listings have told us that the Asus Rog Phone 5 will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. One variant of the smartphone will come with 16GB of RAM, possibly accompanied by 512GB of storage. Even though, Asus Rog phone 5 Geekbench may not be too impressive, the retail version is likely to be better. Previous iterations of gaming phones have consistently topped AnTuTu graph and we see no reason why Asus Rog phone 5 cannot follow suit.
Some Asus Rog Phone 5 renders showed us that it will come with three rear cameras in horizontal alignment. There seems to be a special button to activate several types of special 'game modes' too. Rumors Sketchy suggested that the Asus Rog Phone 5 can also come with a LED screen that can be programmable on the back of the phone. Furthermore, Weibo Veterans Digital Chat Station speculates that it's 6,000 mAh battery will come in a dual-cell configuration and supports fast charging at 65W.
