The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition and Redmi K50 AMG F1 Champion Edition were launched in China, the devices are the successor to the Redmi K40. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition and Redmi K50 AMG F1 champion edition comes with 6.67-inches AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 4,860mm² vapour chamber unit for heat dissipation. The phone's have upto 12GB RAM and upto 256GB storage variant. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, Redmi K50 AMG F1 Champion Edition Price, Availability

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is priced at RMB 3,299 for 8GB + 128GB storage( ~ ₹39,000), for 12GB + 128GB is at RMB 3,599 ( ~ ₹ 42,600) and the highest variant of 12GB + 256GB is at RMB 3,899 ( ~ ₹46, 000). The phone were available in Black, Blue and Silver Colour options. The Redmi K50 AMG F1 champion edition is priced at RMB 4,199 ( ~ ₹49, 700). The Pre-bookings is starting tonight and the devices will go on sale from February 18.

Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Specifications

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition comes with a large 6.67-inches FullHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Display Mate A+ rating, 480Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection and  DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone has a 4,700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, it can the device in just 17 minutes. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13 on top.

Connectivity option includes, Dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, IR blaster, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and Ultra-wide band. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has a Hi-Res audio system and Dolby Atmos powered quad speaker system by JBL. The device has a side mounted fingerprint scanner. 

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has a triple rear camera setup with 64-megapixel SONY IMX686 primary sensor with 6p lens, an 8-megapixel Ultra-wide angle camera with 120° Field-of-View and an 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has an 20-megapuxel SONY IMX596 sensor for selfie and Video chat. 

The phone measures 162.5x76.7x8.5mm and weighs 210 grams. Sensor on board includes, proximity, ambient light, magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope and barometer. The other features includes magnetic power pop-up shoulder key 2.0 and Cyber Engine Ultra-wide band X-axis motor, it is claimed to be more powerful than on iPhone 13 series smartphones.
